Service Projects, who's in???

so I got on primary children medical centers website to see about doing a service project for them and I found some good information. I contacted a lady and I am waiting for her to call me and send me the information for the service project.

just a little history on why I chose to do the service project for primart childrens, I have been going to primary childrens since I was a baby.



I was about 10 days old when I had my first shunt revision at primary childrens medical center by the best doctors there. they have taken care of me over the last 23 years of my life!

as I also see thousands of children being treated for various illnesses, the biggest one being cancer, it has just really touched me this year and I really want to give back. I want to start serving others in need, I see all the service others are doing around me and it has truely inspired me.

Let's get the show on the road......

so I really want to get this blog going, and start getting things together to make cupcakes to take to those in need to brighten someone's day. wither it is a sick child in a hospital, or an adult in a hospital, or in a homeless shelter, or in a nursing home....

I would really like to know how many people would like to help me by donating items and creating a group of people to help with this great thing, because I can't just d it by myself. I would love to have people who would like to meet say once or twice a month one or two saturdays a month and we can bake cupcakes and take them around.

please give me your input, any ideas you may have, etc.

anything would be much appreciated....

a lot has been going on since my last post, hence the lack in my updating an getting things going. but I really want to do this.

About Me

Hi My name is Kandice, there are a few reasons why I have started this blog. I am hoping to be able to start this blog to be able to collect funds to be able to make cupcakes to take to those who need them, such as cancer patients in hospitals, to people in homeless shelters who are not able to have a way to celebrate their birthday, etc.

if you are willing to help, please spread the word..I need to figure out how to get a donate button on the side of my blog, alos this week there will be more inforemation on things that could be donated if you would like to help out.

I have recently found a new love for baking, and for mostly baking cupcakes, which is why I am staring this blog, and my mom has seen things on TV where people have taken treats like these to people in need, and I might as well start doing the same, nd making someone's day!




Above is a picture of some very yummy pumpkin harvest cupcakes, with some chocolate frosting that I MADE! and they are so good! they are cupcakes like these ones that I want to take to those who need them.
